Drill Sergeant Alarm wakes you with a drill instructor who makes you speak a phrase (or solve a problem) to dismiss the alarm — so you actually get up. No snooze button, by design.
Your alarms and settings stay on your device. The microphone is only used at alarm time so you can speak the dismissal phrase, and that audio is processed on your device and never recorded or sent to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how Drill Sergeant Alarm (“the app”, “we”, “us”), published by Hubbe Inc, handles information when you use the app. We built Drill Sergeant Alarm to be privacy-friendly: it works entirely on your device and we do not operate accounts or collect personal information about you on our own servers.
Your alarms, preferences, streak, and settings are stored only on your device (using Android’s local storage). This information is not transmitted to us and we cannot see it. It is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the app’s data.
When an alarm goes off (or when you use the Mic Check), the app listens through your microphone so you can speak the dismissal phrase. The microphone is active only while an alarm is actually ringing (or during a Mic Check); it is automatically turned off the moment you dismiss the alarm or the alarm reaches its time limit (a few minutes at most). Audio is processed by your device’s built-in speech-recognition service — which on many devices is provided by Google or your device manufacturer — to convert your speech to text. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio, and we do not keep the recognized text after it is checked. The handling of audio by the device’s speech-recognition service is governed by that provider’s own privacy policy (for Google, see Google’s Privacy Policy). The app also uses your device’s text-to-speech engine to play the sergeant’s voice.
You can change permissions any time in your device Settings. Denying the microphone permission simply switches the app to a typed dismissal.
The app relies on services that are part of, or provided through, your device and Google Play, including Google Play Services and your device’s speech-recognition and text-to-speech engines. These services have their own privacy policies. We do not share device data with them beyond what is necessary for these features to work.
Drill Sergeant Alarm does not currently contain advertisements or paid purchases. We plan to add an optional ad-supported tier and an optional paid “premium” version in the future. If and when we do, advertising partners (for example, Google AdMob) may collect information such as your advertising identifier and app interactions to provide and measure ads, and purchases would be processed by Google Play Billing. We will update this Privacy Policy and ask for any consent required by law before those features are enabled.
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. Information is only processed by the device services described above to make the app function.
Drill Sergeant Alarm is not directed to children under the age of 13. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will address it.
Because your data lives on your device, you can delete all of it at any time by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. We do not hold copies of your data.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information. Since we do not collect personal information on our servers, you can exercise most of these rights directly on your device. For any questions, contact us at hubbeinc@gmail.com.
We rely on the security protections provided by the Android operating system and Google Play. No method of storage is completely secure, but because the app keeps data locally and does not transmit it, exposure is minimized.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and Hubbe Inc governing your use of Drill Sergeant Alarm. By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use Drill Sergeant Alarm. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Drill Sergeant Alarm for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the Google Play Terms of Service.
Drill Sergeant Alarm is provided as a productivity and motivation tool. Alarm delivery depends on factors outside our control, including your device, operating system, battery-optimization and Do-Not-Disturb settings, permissions, available speech-recognition, and whether the device is powered on. We do not guarantee that any alarm will sound or that speech recognition will work in all conditions. Do not rely on Drill Sergeant Alarm as your only alarm for any safety-critical, medical, or time-critical purpose. Always keep an independent backup alarm for important events.
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt it except to the extent permitted by law, or by using it in any unlawful way.
The app needs certain permissions (such as the microphone) to function as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for granting or denying these permissions on your device.
We may introduce optional advertisements and optional paid features in the future. Any purchases will be handled by Google Play Billing and are also subject to Google’s terms. Where required, additional terms or consents will be presented before such features are enabled.
The app, including its name, content, voice lines, design, and code, is owned by Hubbe Inc and protected by applicable laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that alarms will always sound.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hubbe Inc will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from a missed or failed alarm, arising out of or relating to your use of the app.
You may stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end the app or these Terms if you breach them or as otherwise permitted by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date and, where appropriate, an in-app notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws apply to you.
