Mochi Alarm is developed by Hubbe Inc. (contact: hubbeinc@gmail.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use Mochi Alarm ("the App") on Android. By using the App, you agree to this policy.
All your personal settings — alarms, ringtone preferences, repeat schedule, dark mode, pet name, streak count, and virtual items (Coins, Biscuits) — are stored locally on your device only. We do not operate servers that collect or store this data. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location.
The App uses your device's accelerometer and gyroscope during the "Walk & Pour" mission to detect steps and tilt. Sensor data is processed entirely on-device in real time and is never recorded, transmitted, or shared with anyone.
The free version of Mochi Alarm displays ads provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). To serve ads, Google may collect and use your device's Advertising ID (GAID), IP address, and general device information. This data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can reset or opt out of personalized ads at any time in your device Settings → Google → Ads → "Delete advertising ID" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization." Upgrading to Mochi Alarm Premium removes all ads. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may receive anonymous, aggregated crash reports and basic usage metrics through Google Play services (e.g., which screens crash). This data cannot identify you individually. You can opt out via Android Settings → Google → Manage your Google Account → Data & Privacy.
To deliver alarms reliably, the App requests a set of device permissions that operate entirely on your phone and collect, store, or transmit no personal data: Notifications (to show the alarm and wake-up screen); Exact Alarms (so the alarm rings at the precise minute you set); Full-Screen Intent (to display the wake-up mission over your lock screen); Run at Startup / Boot Completed (to re-arm your saved alarms after a restart); and Vibration. With your optional, separate consent, the App may also ask to be excluded from battery optimization ("unrestricted" battery use) so the operating system does not delay or silence your alarm while the phone is idle. This battery exemption is entirely optional, is granted through your device's own system dialog, and can be revoked at any time in Android Settings. None of these permissions are used for advertising, tracking, or data collection.
Mochi Alarm is rated for general audiences (Everyone) and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. AdMob is configured to serve non-personalized ads only where required by law. If you believe a child under 13 is using the App and has submitted data, contact us at hubbeinc@gmail.com and we will take prompt corrective action.
Data shared with third parties: Advertising ID may be shared with Google AdMob for ad serving. Data collected by us: None — all app data stays on your device. Security practices: Data is encrypted in transit by Google's ad network. You can request data deletion by uninstalling the App or deleting your Advertising ID in device settings.
You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App. You can opt out of personalized ads via Android device settings. EU/EEA users have rights under GDPR including access, erasure, and data portability — contact us at hubbeinc@gmail.com to exercise these rights. California residents have rights under CCPA; we do not sell personal information.
We use industry-standard practices to keep the App secure. All network connections (such as ad requests) use HTTPS encryption. No personal data is stored on our servers. Use a screen lock on your device for additional protection.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By downloading or using Mochi Alarm ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. The App is developed and operated by Hubbe Inc. (contact: hubbeinc@gmail.com). It is provided to help you wake up by completing a small movement-based mission for Mochi the cat. Please read these terms carefully — if you do not agree, do not use the App.
Mochi Alarm does not require an account to function. Your alarms, settings, streak data, and virtual items (Biscuits, Coins) are stored locally on your device. We do not maintain servers that store personal data. You are responsible for keeping your device secure.
Mochi Alarm offers an optional one-time "Premium" upgrade through Google Play In-App Billing. Premium removes ads and unlocks additional customization. All purchases are final and subject to Google Play's refund policy. We do not process payment information directly — all billing is handled by Google.
The App includes virtual currency ("Coins") and consumable items ("Biscuits," "Catnip") earned through gameplay. These items have no real-world monetary value, cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for real money, and are non-refundable. Virtual items may be modified or discontinued at any time.
You agree to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You will not reverse engineer, decompile, redistribute, or attempt to extract source code. You will not use the App in any manner that could damage, disable, or impair it.
The free version of the App displays ads served by Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of these ads. Upgrading to Premium removes all ads. Ads are governed by Google's advertising policies.
The "Walk & Pour" mission requires physical movement. Do not use the App while operating a vehicle, on stairs, or in any unsafe environment. Mochi Alarm is not a medical device and should not be relied upon for any safety-critical wake-ups (medication, transportation, etc.).
The App, including Mochi the cat character, sound design, and all artwork, is owned by Hubbe Inc. and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the App without written permission.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any alarm will reliably ring at the configured time. Reliable alarm delivery also depends on device permissions and settings outside our control — including notification access, exact-alarm scheduling, lock-screen display, and excluding the App from battery optimization. If you decline these permissions, or if your device or manufacturer restricts background activity to save power (for example, "sleeping apps" or aggressive battery savers), alarms may be delayed or silent. Granting battery-unrestricted access is optional and entirely your choice. Use of the App for critical timing (medication, transportation, etc.) is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hubbe Inc. is not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including missed appointments, oversleeping, or loss of virtual items. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App.
We may update these Terms occasionally. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects when this document was most recently revised.
